Saint Cloud State University

Established in 1869 A.D as “Saint cloud normal school” Saint Cloud is located in Minnesota of United States of United States of America. This University covers 100 acres of its land. Saint Cloud is the largest schools in Minnesota and provides largest higher level education in Minnesota.

This University has 15000 students where 13,700 of them are undergraduates and 1,664 are graduate students. The first class was held with 53 students where 43 of them were Women. Saint Cloud state University started its master’s program from the year 1953 and became a University in 1975 A.D. This University also started doctoral degree program at the year 2007. In the year of 1975, Saint Cloud became a University with 5 colleges and a graduate school. The name of this University changed with the time moving on; Saint Cloud Normal School from 1869 to 1921, Saint Cloud State teachers college from 1921 to 1957, Saint cloud State College from 1957 to 1975 and finally Saint Cloud State University from 1975 till today. Saint Cloud State University offers more than 200 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in more than six different colleges and schools.

Among the undergraduate programs the most chosen majors are accounting, nursing and meteorology. It is the only University that offers ABET program in Minnesota. Saint Cloud University has 32 educations in abroad program in almost every best country that provides quality education. College of science and engineering, College of liberal arts, School of education, School of computing, engineering and environment, School of public affairs and School of the arts are the colleges and schools that work under Saint Cloud State University. The University has been taking part in NCAA Division II (men’s ice hockey) and NCAA Division I (Women’s ice hockey) and is known as “HUSKIES”. With a beautiful environment of the University, Saint Cloud also established residence hall at 2010, to the students living inside the campus where they get a peaceful surrounding and proper place to study. The residence halls are Benton hall, Lawrence hall, Sherburne hall, State view Apartment, Case-hill hall, Mitchell hall, Shoemaker hall and Coborn Plaza Apartment where more than 500 students can stay.
