Northwestern University

Northwestern was established in 1853 as a private research University with the campuses in Evanston and Chicago in Illinois of United States of America. This University covers 240 acres of its land. Northwestern University was founded by john Evans in the year 1851. The city of Evanston was also named after him. Northwestern University runs under the leadership of President Morton O. Schapiro and Provost Daniel I. Linzer.

This University is also known as one of the most selective universities for undergraduate applicants. In 1882, northwestern University made its first intercollegiate football team.
