North Carolina University

University of North Carolina (UNC) was established in Dec 11, 1789. The former name UNC was North Carolina University. Opened as a first public institute for higher education in North Carolina this University runs under the leadership of president Kemp Plummer Battle. The motto of UNC is “lux libertas” whose English translation is light and liberty. University of North Carolina is located in Chapel Hill of North Carolina in United States of America. The campus covers 729 acres of the land.
