Dickinson State Univeristy

Dickinson State University was established in 1918 A.D as a public University. Dickinson state University is located in Dickinson of ND in United States of America. This University covers 110 acres of its land. Dickinson State University runs under the leadership of President D.C. Coston.

It has a very less number of academic staffs of 30 people and administrative staff of 212 people. Including both undergraduate and graduate the University consists of 2,572 students. Dickinson state University provides more than 75 majors to undergraduate program and has been giving best education to the students. Dickinson state University is a part of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics that is NAIA. Dickinson state University provides different kind of sports facility to men and Women. Sports such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, track and field and wrestling are for men whereas rodeo, basketball, volleyball, softball and golf for Women. The football couch is the most renowned player who has won more than 200 games Mr. Hank Biesiot. Dickinson also offers a pre-professional study as well. Most of the subjects taken by the students are education, natural science, agriculture majors. Dickinson has some specialized program as well such as business, nursing, agriculture and computer science. Some other majors are also been provided since few years which includes fine arts, humanities, natural science, mathematics and social & behavioral science.

Dickinson state University’s membership will soon move to the north state athletic association in 2015. Though this University is among the top or best universities in the United States; they have limited amount of students getting admitted there, they provide equal attention to each and every students who study there and is very selective towards the applicants . Dickinson state University provides residence halls for the students inside the campus and they are Delong hall, Selke hall and woods hall where more than 500 students can live. The students are given most of the facilities that can help students to study in a better environment such as laundry, basic cable services and so on. The students can choose in which hall they want to stay in while applying the University. It is said that the students living inside the campus have gained better grades in test then the student living outside the campus.
